    Bandari FC, a renowned football club from the coastal region of Kenya, is set to host some of its premier league matches at the Kwale stadium. The decision was announced after a delegation of top sports officials from Bandari FC, led by CEO Tonny Kibwana, visited the stadium in Kwale.

    The visit to the Kwale stadium was aimed at inspecting the facilities and assessing its suitability for hosting Bandari FC matches. The delegation was received by the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) of Social Services and Talent Management, Madam Francisca Kilonzo at her officer at Kwale Cultural Center who promised to work together with the team so as to promote sports in the county.

    Speaking about the decision, Kibwana highlighted the importance of Bandari FC playing their matches in Kwale. He emphasized that Bandari FC is a coastal community team, and hosting matches in Kwale would not only benefit the club but also motivate other sports enthusiasts in the area.

    The move to host matches in Kwale is expected to have a positive impact on the local community. It will attract football fans from all over the region, thereby boosting the local economy. Additionally, it will provide an opportunity for aspiring football players in Kwale to witness top-level football firsthand and potentially inspire them to pursue their dreams in the sport.

    The Kwale stadium construction is one of the state of the art projects by the county government of kwale now under the leadership of Governor Fatuma Achani and her deputy Chirema Kombo.

    The stadium has undergone significant improvements in faces, making it a suitable venue for hosting premier league matches. The stadium boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including a well-maintained pitch, comfortable seating, and adequate security measures.

    With this development, football fans in Kwale and the surrounding areas can look forward to exciting matches featuring Bandari FC. The club’s presence in Kwale will undoubtedly create a vibrant and electrifying atmosphere during match days, attracting fans from all walks of life.
