Kilifi County Chief Officer Fisheries and Blue Economy, Rahab Karisa stabbed to death at her home. Sources told Coast Times Digital that the officer was killed after an argument with her housemaid over payment issues at her home. Reports indicate she was allegedly stabbed to death by her house help in Mnarani, Kilifi County on Thursday morning. This was after returning to the country on Wednesday from a trip to Italy. Kilifi County governor Gideon Mung’aro has launched  a modern fire station at Sh. 125 million in a partnership programme with the World Bank. The station will help combat inferno incidents  by helping in firefighting services in the area.  The project that sits on a one-acre piece of land in Kilifi town, with the World Bank investing a grant of Sh. 96 million. Concerns have been raised over the high number of KCPE students failing to attend classes in the Msambweni constituency in Kwale.
