The letter that Coast Times Digital has obtained reads, “I hereby tender my resignation as the County Executive Committee Member for Health services effective from the date of this letter. I hereby thank you for the opportunity to serve in your cabinet”. Yumbya did not take any question from journalists with reason for his resignation being unknown at least for now.

The two are said to have been on their way to the Mvindeni market when the 5:30 am incident occurred. The irate members of the public also burnt the suspect’s body before police arrived. The police officer who was alone in a RAV-4 vehicle was heading to Likoni from Msambweni.
