A total of 579,396 residents took a loan of Sh1.9 billion with bagging number two where about 575,353 residents took a total of Sh1.22 billion hustler fund loans Kwale which bagged number three has about 296,831 Kwale residents who benefited from the national government hustler fund personal loans of Sh610 millions by July 2024. The acquisition process started last year as the company began plans to fold as its mining life comes to an end in December. The police officer who was alone in a RAV-4 vehicle was heading to Likoni from Msambweni. Reports indicate that the driver lost control of the vehicle before rolling and plunging into the Mwachema River. The incident attracted Diani and Tiwi residents and passers-by thronging the scene in disbelief wanting to know what may have caused the accident. By reporter President William Ruto has launched the first phase of an affordable housing project in Kwale Town, Matuga Sub-County.
