    Kenya to host Global peace leadership conference 2024

    Kenya is expected to host the Global Peace Leadership Conference (GPLC) Africa from 25th to 27th June 2024.

    The conference will start with tree growing exercise at Konza technopolis city as part of the environment conservation.

    Over 30,000 seedlings of different types of trees are expected to be planted at Konza technopolis city area.

    Speaking during the global peace leadership conference (GPLC) media breakfast meeting at Radisson Blu hotel in Nairobi, Mr. Daniel Juma Executive Director Global Peace Foundation Kenya said that the conference will mainly address aspects on families, Education and African Values and spiritualities.

    “This global peace leadership conference is expected to promote unity and cohesion amongst us and that is very important for us all globally,” Mr. Juma said.

    The deputy government spokesperson Hon.Mwanaisha Chidzuga also added that the conference will give Kenya an opportunity to collaborate and promote global unity and cohesion.

    “This conference is important as it will bring together delegates from Africa and around the world to explore and discuss ways to promote peace, development and cooperation amongst us,” she said.

    Chidzuga also urged Kenyans to avoid indulging on ethnic and tribal division and embrace togetherness to promote unity.

    “Kenya has been on the forefront in promoting peace, security, cohesion and addressing climate change hence the conference will place the country with a great image,” he said.
