    Kwale County set to launch key health projects during G7 Summit.

    Kwale County Governor Fatuma Achani, accompanied by the seven other female governors, Ann Waiguru who is the governor Kirinyaga county Susan Kihika of Nakuru, Wavinya Ndeti of Machakos county, Cecily Mbarire of Embu county , Gladys Wanga of Homabay and Kawira Mwangaza of Meru county are scheduled to officially open several key health projects during the upcoming G7 summit to be held in the region.

    Among the major milestones to be inaugurated is the newly built Oncology Centre at Kwale Hospital, which is expected to enhance cancer treatment and care in the county.

    In addition to this, the Governors will commission the construction of an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and renal unit at Kinango Subcounty Hospital.

    The series of launches highlight the government’s continued commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and addressing local health challenges in Kwale County.

    These facilities will greatly improve critical healthcare services in the region. The events will also include a public Baraza at Kwale Teachers Training College, where residents will engage in discussions with the leaders.
