    Kwale Governor Fatuma Achani will today host her fellow women governors for the G7 Empowerment Program.

    The program initiated by the seven women governors will be held at Kwale TTC, Bang’a, Kinango. It will help showcase the power and influence women can impart in the leadership and governance of the country as the seven governors strive to inspire more women into leadership, business and positions of influence in society.

    Kwale County set to launch key health projects during G7 Summit.

    Young and upcoming women leaders will be mentored and exposed to empowerment opportunities during the day long program.

    This is happening ahead of the Mashujaa Day celebrations that are also scheduled to be held in Kwale county on October 20th 2024, the event it shall be presided over by President William Ruto at the newly constructed Kwale Stadium. The stadium can accommodate over 13000 people.

    Before the event, the G7 delegation will open a newly constructed state-of-the oncology centre at Kwale Hospital.

    The G7 team includes: Her Excellency’s Cecile Mbarire of Embu, Gladys Wanga of Homabay, Wavinya Ndeti of Machakos, Susan Kihika of Nakuru, Mwangaza Kawira of Meru, Anne Waiguru of Kirinyaga and Fatuma Achani of Kwale
