President William Ruto has launched several projects including industrial park, construction of affordable houses, Modern market and Cotton Ginnery in Kwale.

In his second day tour in the coastal region Ruto said that the projects are meant to create employment to thousands of youths in the region.

The president first launched the Kinango technical vocational college with about 100 computers that will help youths to get digitals skills.

The president said that his administration is set to ensure every ward in the country gets an ICT hub to enable youths to do online business and earn a living by ensuring the centers are equipped with computers.

Ruto assured Kwale residents that Sh1.5 billion has been set aside for electricity connectivity to about 20,000 locals.

“You will tell us where there is no power so that it can be connected all over and all institutions,” Ruto said in Kinango.

While addressing in LungaLunga after launching the construction of Mwananyamala industrial park, Ruto said that his administration will pump in Sh250 million for the project after Kwale county government injected Sh250 million.

He said that the industrial park will ensure value addition of products is done so that farmers can grow, value add and sell for their benefits.

Speaking at Kwale town after launching the construction of affordable houses, the president said that his administration is out to accommodate all Kenyans regardless of tribe and race.

He said that there is no need to discriminate against other people on tribal or political lines adding that his agenda is about uniting all Kenyans.

By including cabinet nominees from opposition parties, he said it will ensure the country’s potential will be unlocked.

“I have constituted a cabinet that has the face of the country in order to unite all citizens so that we can face the challenges together and ensure development,” he said.

Ruto called all leaders and citizens to unite and change the country.

“Politics in Kenya have brought a lot of challenges and sometimes it becomes difficult to implement projects because some people are forced to oppose them because they are in opposition but we have said let us do away with politics and work together,” he added.

Senate speaker Amason Kingi said that Kenyans youths actions and demands forced the president to make difficult decisions in his administration for the benefit of the nation.

“For two weeks we left everything and discussed their issues. We appreciate the president and the opposition leaders for setting aside political differences for the sake of the country,’ he said.

He urged generation Z youths to allow the country’s leadership to implement all the demands they had demanded in a peaceful environment.

Prime cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi urged Kenyans to preach peace and unity in order for the government to deliver development.

“If there are issues let us raise them with the president like he has said and not allow people to lose lives because of politics,” said Mudavadi.

Cabinet secretary nominee for Trade, Investment and Industry Salim Mvurya said that he is ready to serve the country.

He warned citizens against being incited and instead to support president William Ruto’s agenda of uniting Kenyans.

Governor Fatuma Achani who accompanied the president said that during former cabinet secretary for mining and blue economy Salim Mvurya Kwale residents benefited a lot.

She said that the national government has done a lot on matters such as provision of water to Kwale residents and digging of dams while appreciating the president for nominating Mvurya for the trade, investment and Industry docket.
