    Two die in Taita Taveta plane crash

    Two people have died after a plane crashed at Kone area along the Tiva in Tsavo East National Park on Thursday morning in Taita Taveta county.

    In a statement to the media KWS said that the plan Cessna 185 5Y-DHS belongs to David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

    “It crashed at around 7.15 hours while on patrol in Huri-the North Eastern boundary of the park regrettably instantly killing both occupants on board,” reads the statement.

    Kenya Wildlife services officials and security officials are kn the ground to investigate the circumstances of the crash.

    “KWS wishes to express our deepest sympathies and condolences to the families of the deceased,” added the statement.
