    UDA party sensitization forums held in Kwale as leaders says no zoning ahead of 2027 general election.

    Kwale County Governor Fatuma Achani joined top UDA luminaries in the UDA sensitization meeting held at Ukunda Showground in Msambweni Constituency, Kwale County.

    The meeting is meant to popularize the governing party at the grassroots level as well as strengthen the party structures with major polls scheduled to take place in kwale on the month of April 23rd ,2026

    Key activities include electing officials at polling centers and wards, with significant focus on regional clusters like the Coast, Lake Region, and Mt.kenya region.

    The high profile meeting was attended by top UDA leaders including Cabinet Secretary for Sports,Youth Affairs and Creative Economy Salim Mvurya,United Democratic party Secretary Hon.Hassan Sarai,and the Speaker of the Sanate Amason Kingi

    Addressing jubilant party supporters kwale County Governor Fatuma Achani indicated that the UDA Party is an inclusive one and noted that president Ruto’s administration has transformed the county through projects that have direct impact to the common man.

    Achani pointed out the construction and completion of Shimoni Fishing Port, Completion of Diani market,Kwale Stadium ,and the ongoing Construction of Kwale-Kinango Road,and ongoing Construction of Mwachande Bridge as key projects initiated by Ruto administration since he assumed office in 2022.

    “We have no reason of not thanking the President for what he has done for us because since independence it’s now where Kwale is represented in the national sphere.” Achani said.

    On their side the Sanate Speaker Amason Kingi and Cabinet Secretary for Sports, Youth Affairs and Creative Economy Salim Mvurya lauded the President William Ruto for creating all inclusive administration where the coastal people are counted and included the division of the National cake unlike in the previous administration.

    “Let’s vote Ruto in large numbers in 2027 so that we have more numbers in the national level from our region so that we continue to have a share and say in the national government.” Mvurya said.

    Similar sentiments were echoed by the UDA Deputy Party Issa Timamy and UDA Secretary General Hassan Sarai who noted that the UDÀ party has a huge following in the coastal region putting the rivals parties in the opposition on notice come 2027.

    Members of Parliament Mangale Chiphoromodo Lungalunga,Feisal Badar Msambweni ,Kassim Tandaza Matuga,and Nominated Senator Raphael Chimera rallied on the residents to re-elect president William Ruto and the Leaders affiliated to the UDA party in 2027 polls saying that president William Ruto development agenda needs an additional of 5 years with the aim of transforming the Country.

    Deputy Government Spokesperson Mwanaisha Chidzuga urged locals in the area to rally behind president William Ruto administration saying alot of development projects have  been initiated in the area.

    “We are good in the hands of president William Ruto.  He has given us alot of opportunities in Kwale,” she said.

    Present at meeting were Uasini Gishu Senator Jackson Mandago,Taita Taveta Women representative Lydia Haika,Bongwe Gambato Member of County Tumaini Chaunga,Kasemeni Mca Victor Safari,Nominated Mca Judy Kengo, Josephine Kinyanjui,Omari Bakari Mwaduga Pongwe Kikoneni Ward, Hamisi Mkaha Mwavumbo Ward and other senior Government officials.
