    Wayzata Boys FC take home Sh300, 000 after thrashing Biga Stars FC 2-0 during Feisal Super cup

    The 1st edition of Feisal Super cup sponsored by Msambweni MP Feisal Abdallah came to an end with Wayzata boys FC winning against Biga stars FC.

    The finals that were played at Mvindeni grounds in Ukunda with thousands of fans filling the area to witness the football game saw Wayzata Boys FC scoring 2-0 goals against Biga stars FC during a thrilling encounter.

    Apart from the coveted trophy, Wayzata FC took home Ksh.300, 000 while Biga young stars pocketed Ksh. 200,000.

    All the 32 football teams that participated in the competition were also awarded with sports gears.

    Feisal said that he will continue to nurture youth talent through such initiatives every year in order to ensure youths stay away from crime, drugs and also promote peaceful coexistence

    “We also welcome the government’s plan to launch a nationwide Bottom-up Under-19 football tournament, which is a wider plan to enable the national men’s football team, Harambee Stars qualify for the 2030 World Cup and host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations alongside other East African countries,” he said.

    Leaders present during the tournament’s finals include Senator Issa Boy, Kwale County women representative Fatuma Masito, Nominated Senator Raphael Chimera Mwinzagu, Matuga MP Kassim Tandaza , Lunga-Lunga MP Mangale Munga Chiforomodo , Ramisi MCA Hanifa Mwajirani , Kinondo ward MCA Juma Maone, Citizen TV anchor Rashid Abdalla amongst other dignitaries.
