Kwale government has committed to supporting arts and culture for youth to realize their full potential and hone their talents. The most celebrated cultural festival came back with a bang after a two-year pause due to Covid-19. The colourful event was held at the famous Shimba Hills School grounds. Experimental cage culture has been done by Kenya Marine Fisheries and Research Institute (KMFRI) using wooden square and rectangular cages.
