Diani walkers explore the best beaches in Africa in their walking experience along the precious Diani beaches.

Walking along the sandy beaches of Diani is one of the attractive things that have made the majority of tourists flock to the area.

Diani has the best beaches that have received international awards severally, it is because of how stakeholders in the tourism sector in collaboration with county and national government have put efforts into placing it in the international arena.

This has also attracted the attention of Diani Walkers, a group of enthusiasts who have come together to walk for one health.

In what they dubbed “Beach Edition a 10 kilometres walk” they snaked through the sandy beaches experiencing the fantastic sunrise from Watatu Watano to historical Kongo mosques beach and back to Watano Watatu Beach.

Walkers were able to experience the allure of Diani Beach early in the morning as clouds swam away paving way for the sun to rise at a spectacular moment.

About 10 children were as young as 7 years were among the participants during the beach edition walk.

This is to encourage those still waiting to join that issues of good health are not about the elderly or grownups; it starts from birth.

Msambweni MP Feisal Badar joined walkers during the Beach edition who are among leaders supporting the move while encouraging locals to embrace it.

Feisal says that walking helps in fighting against high blood pressure diseases and other diseases.

The walk has also attracted the likes of Kwale deputy governor Chirema Kombo who join walkers during their Saturday weekly walk.

From 8 people who started the walk in the first edition, the walk has now about 200 passionate walkers.
