Achani said the county has constructed beach access roads, installation of street lighting and collaboration with various agencies to enhance security along the beaches.
The governor also noted the construction and completion of the Dongo-Kundu Bypass and expansion of the Diani airstrip both of which have greatly contributed to opening up the region and boosting its appeal to tourists and investors.
Achani revealed that further development projects are in the pipeline to ensure that Diani and other parts of Kwale County continue to attract tourists and investors.
She mentioned that her administration is committed to enhancing the region’s appeal through strategic investments in infrastructure, environmental conservation, and tourism services.
