    Kwale Govenor Fatuma Achani set to address Mwanamke Bomba Mashujaa edition Gala Dinner

    Kwale governor Fatuma Achani is set to give a keynote address to the Mwanamke Bomba Mashujaa edition Gala Dinner organized by Citizen TV Kenya News Anchor Mwanahamisi Hamadi today.

    The Gala Dinner has brought together successful women in the private sector and elected women leaders including Governors, Deputies, members of parliament and members of county assembly from Kwale County

    The Governor is accompanied by the only elected woman MCA from Kwale county Hanifa Mwajirani and nominated MCA Judy Kengo.

    The Governor is flanked by kilifi Deputy Governor Flora Chibule, Kilifi women rep Gertrude Mbeyu, nominated senator Veronica Maina,Busia women representative Catherine Omayo and Beatrice Elachi MP Dagoreti among other dignitaries

    Achani later is expected to give a keynote address to wanawake Bomba drawn from 47 counties.

    Achani is the first woman governor in the Coast region to be elected after beating culture and traditional as well as religious belief.

    She is serving her first five years as governor after serving as deputy governor for 10 years during former governor Salim Mvurya reign.

    A woman with a promising future for the women leadership in the Coastal region.
