Msambweni member of parliament Feisal Bader has urged his constituents to embrace physical fitness to enhance good health.

Bader sentiments come as Diani Walkers enters third edition on Saturday 11th of March 2023.

The MP had joined the walkers during the second edition that took place on 4th March.

The edition covered 10km starting from Samrat Supermarket to Carrefour junction all the way to Lotfa and ended at Mvindeni opportunity center grounds.

Bader congratulated the organizers saying it was a noble idea that promotes healthy living through body exercises.

Diani Walkers is a group of voluntary and passionate individuals who are keeping fit through walking in Diani.

The group is championing good health under their slogan “a step for one health”.

“I would like to Congratulate the organizers of this walk. It’s a great thing; it keeps one fit both physically and mentally.” Said Bader.

He added that being his first time, he thought it would be tough but eventually he was able to complete the 10km set target.

“I want to call upon all of us living in Diani, Msambweni, Kwale County and Kenya as a whole to keep exercising so as to prevent some illnesses disturbing us in our lives,” he added.

The MP called upon everyone living in the area to join the walk every Saturday morning.

The third edition will start from Ukunda Showground to Kona Musa the walkers will then snake through to Mekaela Ratinga School then to Manyatta Lounge.

From Manyatta the walkers will again head straight to Carrefour Junction heading back to Ukunda Showground.
