One Royal Media Services workers is dead as several others have been hospitalised after Christmas suspected food poisoning. “The Royal Media Services RMS is saddened to confirm a serious case of food poisoning that affected a significant number of staff working over the Christmas shift,” the media organization managing director Wachira Waruru. Kwale police have made a major breakthrough in the fight against juvenile criminal gang from Mombasa that is slowly sneaking in the area after two of them were arrested at Kombani. Two others escaped as police pursued them after they defied orders to stop at Kombani toad block. The ministry of Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs has banned swimming in public beaches across the country beyond 5:30pm. It has also banned swimming of individuals who are drunk. Two people have been killed and a house torched in an attack suspected to be carried out by Al -Shabaab terrorists in Taa village near Pandanguo in Witu division, Lamu County. The attack took place around 8:00 pm Oclock on Sunday night. A multi agency security team comprising of NPS officers and KWS rangers acted swiftly and successfully recovered a vehicle reported to have been hijacked in Kwale County. The occupants of the motor vehicle were traveling from Msambweni to Ruiru when they were allegedly waylaid by four persons armed with crude weapons who robbed them and took off with the vehicle.
