A four year’s old minor escaped death narrowly after a water tank tower at Gazi dispensary in Msambweni collapsed on him.
The minor was rescued by locals in collaboration with security officers and Base Titanium rescuers.
Those who witnessed the incident blamed the shoddy job of the tank construction by the constructor saying it was the only reason it collapsed threatening a life of innocent children and the community around.
The minor was taken to Msambweni referral hospital for treatment.
Locals demanded that the contractor responsible for putting up a shoddy water tower be punished and be held personally responsible.
