BY Reporter The national government has promised to support Kwale County to build the Kwale Heritage and Cultural Centre known as Bomas of Kwale. The cultural centre is expected to cost sh 50 Million. The construction is set to start next year. Mvurya said people should shun tribal alignment as it causes division and impedes development. “Don’t allow our different traditions and culture to divide us but embrace them for tolerance and togetherness for prosperity,” he said. The most celebrated cultural festival came back with a bang after a two-year pause due to Covid-19. The colourful event was held at the famous Shimba Hills School grounds. Caroline Katana Marine cage farming has not been adopted well along the Kenyan coast in the last decade. Experimental cage culture has been done by Kenya Marine Fisheries and Research Institute (KMFRI) using wooden square and rectangular cages.
